Adding the MiniR4M to Matter-compatible apps is easy. Simply scan the Matter QR code provided with your Matter-compatible app, and the MiniR4M is easily configured following the app’s steps.

The MiniR4M is equipped with an ESP32 chip, and its tiny size fits into various mounting boxes, including the type 86/EU and type 120 mounting boxes. The MiniR4M supports external switch control and easily connects to the momentary switch, door output switch, SPDT switch, locking switch, and even dry contact sensors.

The MiniR4M features the “detachable relay” mode, which means that the states of the external switches and the relay are separated. Therefore, operating the external switch button will not affect the relay state. For example, if you enable the “detachable relay” mode, when you turn off the light, your smart light will not go offline, and you can still use the app to control the smart lights.
